For the first time since the pandemic, a national-level motorcycle racing competition ‘Nepal Racer Cup 2022′ was recently held in Himalayan Motorland, Dhulikhel. The racing event which was organized by Motor Sports Nepal in association with Nepal Automobiles’ Association (NASA) saw the participation of 72 contestants – 48 in the 150cc class and 24 in the 250cc class.

Sandeep Ghimire emerged victorious in the 150cc class while Sujan Thapa Magar and Mahesh Rana Magar grabbed the second and third positions respectively. Similarly, Raj Kumar Karki clinched the first position in the 250cc class while Biwesh Shrestha and Bhim Hona stood runner-ups.

he prizes were distributed among the winners by NASA Chief Advisor Govinda Bhattarai, Chairman Dasharath Risal and General Secretary Sushil Tandukar, Chairman of Motor Sports Nepal Binod Tandukar, NASA officials Ashish Lamichhane and Santosh Neupane, and representatives from different companies.

Nepal Automobiles Association (NASA Nepal) has made public the promo of its annual sports event under motor sports. NASA, active in the fields of motor sports, automobile mobility and tourism and road safety, has unveiled promos of various sporting events in its annual calendar.

After extensive discussions with the working committee, departmental committee and secretariat in Kathmandu, NASA has announced the promo and calendar of its event on Sunday. NASA has included three types of events for the fiscal years 78-89 and 89-80, namely national and international participation, planning and affiliation.

Events like Motorcycle Racing Racemandu, Motorcycle Offroad Racing Event Crossmandu, Nepal Road Race Championship which are popular among the youth are in the annual calendar. Similarly, women are competing in Racenari Talent Trophy, Nepal Motor Sports Rally, Cross Event Mount Everest Autocross and Trans-Himalayan Adventure Competition.

NASA Nepal's first motoring event Sincere Citizen Motor Rally will be organized as the new brand of Tourmandu this time. NASA Nepal has mentioned that some of the auto gymkhana events that Nepali drivers have left a good impression in Asia Pacific will be organized in the name of Nepal Auto Gymkhana Championship.

Nepal Automobiles' Association (NASA) is conducting Riders Training Programme on September 17-18, 2021. Those riders who are looking to obtain a National or a Novice license or Two Wheel Touring Marshal License can participate in the program.

The first day of the event will be more focused on Two Wheel Touring Marshal Training whereas the Second day will have major sessions for Riders License. After the two-day program, participants/riders will be provided with a sporting or a Touring License. For that, participants have to fill up the Athletes form (can access it in the link below). The deadline for the submission of the form is 15 September 2021. Please note that forms will not be collected after Bhadra 31, 2078.
Those riders who need to renew their sports license shall give their outdated sports license along with recent passport-sized photographs early.
Fee Structure:

Participants requiring a National License: Rs. 3,000/-

Participants requiring a Novice License: Rs 2,000/-

Participants who want to renew their License, Renewal fee: Rs. 1,000/-

धुलिखेल - पछिल्लो समय युवा पुस्तामा लोकप्रिय डट बाइक रेसिङले शनिबार धुलिखेलको माहौल तताएको थियो।

साउनको चर्को घामपछि परेको सिमसिम पानीमा रूझ्दै २९ जना युवा हिमालयन मोटरल्याण्डमा नेपाल अटोमोबाइल्स एसोसिएसन (नासा) अन्तर्गतको नेपाल मोटरसाइकल फेडरेसन (एनएमएफ)ले आयोजना गरेको क्रसमान्डु नेसनल च्याम्पियनसिप २०१८ मा सहभागि भए। 

बिहान करिब ११ बजे सुरू प्रतियोगिता साँझ ६ बजेसम्म चलेको थियो। दर्शकको बाक्लो उपस्थिति रहेको प्रतियोगिता अत्यान्त रोमाञ्चक भएको थियो।

साउने झरीमा डट बाइकको टायरले फालेको हिलो र त्यही हिलोमा लड्दै रेसमा सहभागी हेर्दा कुनै अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगिता जस्तै अनुभव दर्शकले लिइरहेका थिए।

उपस्थित दर्शकले आफ्ना प्रतियोगितालाई बाजा बजाएर समर्थन गरेका थिए।

नोभिस र नेशनल गरि दुई वटा विधामा सञ्चालित प्रतियोगिताको नोभिस क्याटागोरीको उपाधि सुशील थापाले हात पार्दा दीपेश क्षेत्री दोस्रो र राजकुमार कार्की तेस्रो भए।

यो विधा अन्तर्गत पहिलो पटक सहभागी तथा पहिला सहभागी भएर पनि उपाधि नजितेका रेसरहरूको सहभागीता थियो।

यस्तै नेशनल च्याम्पियनसिपको उपाधि आशुतोष ध्वजुले हात पारे। अत्यान्त प्रतिश्पर्धात्मक रेसको दोस्रो स्थानमा सुजित ताम्राकार रहँदा सुवास कट्वालले तेस्रो स्थानमा चित्त बुझाए।

२९ जना युवाको सहभागिता रहेको प्रतियोगितामा २५० सीसीसम्मका डर्ट बाइकहरू समाबेस थियो।

उपाधि विजेताले नगद २५ हजार सिल्ड र प्रमाणपत्र पाए भने दोस्रो हुनेले १५ हजार तथा तेस्रो हुनेले नगद १० हजार, सिल्ड तथा प्रमाणपत्र पाएका थिए।

विजयी खेलाडीहरूलाई काभ्रे जिल्ला खेलकुद विकास समितिका अध्यक्ष सचिदानन्द केसी र नेपाल मोटरसाइकल फेडरेसनका अध्यक्ष सीताराम न्यौपानेलगायतले पुरस्कार वितरण गरेका थिए।

नेसनल च्याम्पियनसिपका विजेताले आगामी वर्ष भारत, श्रीलंका र नेपालमा हुने कन्टिनेन्टल कपमा सहभागी हुने अवसर पाउने आयोजक नासाले जनाएको छ।

पछिल्लो पुस्तामा अत्यन्तै लोकप्रिय डट बाइक नेपाली बजारमा उपलब्ध छन्। युवाहरूले बेला बेला २-४ जना सहभागी भएर दौड गरे पनि व्यवसायिक रूपमा यसरी प्रतियोगिता धेरै कम मात्र हुन्छ।

ललितपुरको सातदोबाटोस्थित स्वीमिङ पुल कम्प्लेक्समा आयोजना सम्पन्न उक्त रेसिङ च्याम्पियनसिपमा २१ जना महिला राइडरले ११० सिसीको होन्डा नाभी (Honda Navi) कुँदाएका थिए ।

प्रतियोगिताका विजयी खेलाडीहरुलाई क्रमशः रु. १० हजार, ७ हजार र ५ हजार नगद, शिल्ड र प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान गरिएको छ । मोटरसाइकल रेसिङका प्रथम विजेतालाई आगामी वर्ष एसियाली स्तरको रेसिङमा भाग लिन थाइल्यान्ड/मलेसिया पठाउने व्यवस्था गरिने छ । विजयी खेलाडीहरुलाई राष्ट्रिय खेलकुद परिषद्का बोर्ड सदस्य राजेन्द्र श्रेष्ठ (राजु) ले पुरस्कार र प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान गर्नुभयो ।

 
Women in Sports & Adventure भन्ने देशब्यापी अभियान संचालन गरिरहेको नेपाल अटोमोबाइल्स एसोसिएसन (नासा) अन्तर्गतको नेपाल मोटरसाइकल फेडरेसन क्लबले सो प्रतियोगिता आयोजना गरेको हो । अत्यन्तै साहसिक यो प्रतियोगिताको मुख्य प्रायोजक Honda Navi मोटरसाइकल रहेको छ भने पाँचौ पर्वतीय खेलकुद महोत्सव अन्तर्रगत नासा र राष्ट्रिय खेलकुद परिषदले आर्थिक सहयोग गरेका छन् । प्रतियोगिताको सह–प्रायोजकमा इडिमित्सु इन्जिन आयल थियो । त्यसैगरी पेट्रोनास लुब्रिकेन्ट, क्यास्ट्रोल लुब्रिकेन्ट, स्टड्स हेल्मेट, बज्र इन्टरप्राइजेज, हिट्को प्रालि, अटो लिंक र स्याभ्सोल लुब्रिकेन्ट समेत प्रायोजक थिए ।

 
युवायुवतीहरुका बीचमा लोकप्रिय उक्त इभेन्ट गत वर्षदेखि सञ्चालन गरिएको हो । नेपालकै लागि नयाँ, रोमाञ्चकारी र साहसिक मानिने उक्त रेसनारी प्रतियोगिता महिला बाइक राइडरहरुलाई लक्षित गरि सञ्चालन गरिएको हो । नासा अन्तर्गतको नेपाल मोटरसाइकल फेडरेसन क्लबले यो प्रतियोगिता सञ्चालन गर्छ । पर्वतीय खेलकुद महासंघको प्रस्ताव एवं समन्वयमा पाँचौ पर्वतीय खेलकुद महोत्सव २०१७ अन्तर्गत यस पटक यो प्रतियोगिता सञ्चालन गरिएको हो ।
